The Upstate History Alliance gives annual Awards of Merit to recognize outstanding work in the regional history and museum community, reward staff and volunteers, and provide incentives for developing new and innovative projects. Annual Conference Each year UHA sponsors an Annual Conference dealing in detail with an historical theme of interest to museum professionals, volunteers, archivists and local historians. Click here for information on this year's conference. Documentary Heritage Program (DHP) UHA is the service provider for the South Central Region of the Documentary Heritage Program (DHP). Our service area covers Allegany, Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, and Yates counties. Lending Library UHA has a small library of books on local history, museum & archival topics available to loan to Organizational Members and South Central Region DHP constituents.
